I have been following the work of Guy Kawasaki for years now. His content is always refreshing and insightful. In fact, I find his talks on “making meaning” to be some of the best. On that note, those words and his book, The Art of the Start, were a large part of the inspiration for me starting Ethos3 – to make meaning and change the world through presentations.
So here is a must read for this fall season. It is Guy’s new book, Reality Check: The Irreverent Guide to Outsmarting, Outmanaging, and Outmarketing Your Competition. Anyone will find this book a great resource. Whether you are starting your first company, your fifth, or you just like practical, sound business advice then this is a must read. The book also has sections on pitching and presentations including Guy’s famous 10/20/30 Rule which is my personal favorite. Essentially, it’s 94 chapters of Guy’s best stuff. Be sure to add it to your collection.
