Presentation Personas Who Are the Best Business Leaders

Have you ever thought about starting your own business? Or do you want to work your way up the corporate ladder to become the CEO of your company one day? If you have, you will most likely be making many presentations along the way. This is not a task to take for granted; delivering a great presentation will leave a strong impression on your boss or client. Everyone has a different approach and style when it comes to presentations, that come along with their own set of strengths and weaknesses.

Here are the presentation personas who are the best business leaders:

Activator

The Activator is an energetic and bold personality. They make great salespeople, which is why they are one their way to becoming a great business leader. Activators have a natural ability to weave facts and stories into a presentation, and most importantly getting the audience to act on their call to action. If you can drive up sales for your company, or get people to buy your product or service, you will be running the show before you know it.

Captivator

The Captivator is a likable and entertaining presentation persona. They can roll with the punches and lead a discussion with their audience. In the business world, if a meeting doesn’t go as planned, you can count on the Captivator to come up with a way to turn it around. The biggest area for improvement is concentrating on a strong message. Sometimes a Captivator call to action may sound great, but isn’t enough to drive results. These presenters already know how to entertain a crowd, now with just a little preparation, they can lead one with their own business.

Creator

Many entrepreneurs match up with the Creator because of their passion for innovation. This presentation persona is resourceful and inspiration because of their ability to make something out of nothing. And Creators want to deliver a message that will have a long-lasting impact. These traits make them successful leaders in the technology industry, where they can come up with the next trending app or problem-solving gadget. However, this person tends to be spotty on the details and less likely to lead a discussion with their clients. Paying closer attention to detail and breaking out of their shell will impact their future as a success business leader.

Director

Authority, respect, and success. These are three words to describe the Director. When they walk in the room, you already know they are in charge. Directors are well-versed in the topic they are presenting, and they strive to motivate their audience to act now. If you got this presentation persona, you probably are already halfway there to leading your own company or starting your own business. Just be sure to not be too hard on yourself or ask too much of the people working for you; it’s great to have high expectations, but remember to stay grounded in reality.

Liberator

Liberators are experts a delivering a message that will stand the test of time, and using their intelligence to offer advice for their audience. Because of this, they are great leaders who can come up with solutions to real world problems. The Liberator can put in ample time to prepare their ideas to fruition and connect with an audience. This presentation persona would be great at starting a nonprofit or leading in the service industry, because they tend to focus on the big picture. The only caution they should take is making sure everyone understands what the goal is and how to get there.

Take the Badge assessment to find out which presentation persona you are, and see if you would make a great business leader. If you are an aspiring business leader but your presentation persona didn’t make this list, don’t worry. Every persona has quality traits that will lead them to success in whatever career they decide to pursue.
