Is Your Current PowerPoint Template Ugly? A Quiz

Is it ugly?

Want to see if your template is worthy of sharing or worthy of the trash bin? Ask yourself the following questions, and then count up how many “true” or “false” answers you get. Score yourself below the quiz in order to answer the ultimate question: “should I get a new template?”

If You Answered Mostly “False:”

Congratulations! You probably don’t need a template if your current PowerPoint meets your needs and still maintains your brand’s integrity. However, if you are borderline between mostly true’s and mostly false’s, you might consider shopping around for a template to see if the switch would be valuable.

If You Answered Mostly “True:”

The bad news is that you need a new template. The good news is that online template resources can help you quickly find a perfect fit, all within budget. You don’t have to hire a custom designer or assign an intern to do the heavy lifting; today, great design can be found at a click of a button.

Think of a template like a set of brand new tires on your car. They’ll look and feel fantastic for a few years after you buy them, but eventually, time is going to wear them down and make your ride feel terrible. Don’t wait until you’re stranded on the side of a road with a flat tire: go out there and get a beautiful new PowerPoint template. Vroom!
