Today, we are going old-school with Home Town Story. This is actually a terrible movie. In essence, it is a bit crap-happy. Nonetheless, there is a "tiny" great speech contained within it by the big business manufacturer - Mr. MacFarland.
Content
Mr. MacFarland's speech is engaging. He even has a few magnetic lines such as:
"It takes BIGNESS to do BIG things."
"Profits to the customer."
"Everything you see is profits - our transportation, communication, household appliances, medical equipment - notice them sometime, Blake. They are the real profits."
Design
No design here, just the medium of black and white film.
Delivery
It's simple, captivating, and clear. Overall, Mr. MacFarland's casual approach makes his information easy to digest. Not a bad speech for a 65 year-old stiff.
