I must admit… we had a blast. It was fun experimenting with original photography and drawing our own illustrations. Much better than using stock photography. Here is our entry: Read the rest of this entry »
It seems like 2009 will be the year of presentations. It’s exciting to see how much is actually going on in this space. We have SlideShare, SlideRocket, and now SlideMagnet. It surely is a great time to be someone who loves presentations. On that note, PresentationCamps are finally beginning to surface. In fact, you can probably expect one in a city near you – Chicago, Seattle, Houston, Sydney… and the list goes on. Personally, I am excited to be part of 2 of them in the weeks ahead.
If you will be in or around the Stanford campus on Saturday, February 28th, be sure to check out the first Presentation Camp. You can register for it here. It’s only $10. Not a bad investment for a whole day of learning. If you already have plans for that day, then be sure to reserve a space on your calendar for SlideShare’s PresenationCamp which is taking place at their offices in downtown San Francisco on March 21st. You can learn more here. Be sure to join the group and join the conversation.
In case you haven’t heard, you can now share SlideShare presentations on LinkedIn. Here’s a video all about it.
On that note, Ethos3 is proud to offer a new service. We are calling them YOU decks. You can see our new callout on the right hand side of this screen in the “What’s Hot” section. The great news with this new application and service is that you can now share a presentation all about you all over the web with all your favorite social networks.
