Now, I want to introduce you to my favorite speaker so far at the 2015 TED conference, Anand Giridharadas. Learn about Anand Giridharadas and his talk that brought the crowd to tears by reading this blog post on TED.com: Two Americas collide in a mini-mart: Anand Giridharadas’s rousing talk at TED2015. Watch for this talk on TED.com in the near future.

Next, watch the first talk to be released on video to the public from the 2015 TED conference: Can we create new senses for humans?

Summary:  As humans, we can perceive less than a ten-trillionth of all light waves. “Our experience of reality,” says neuroscientist David Eagleman, “is constrained by our biology.” He wants to change that. His research into our brain processes has led him to create new interfaces to take in previously unseen information about the world around us.

Continue on your 2015 TED journey by learning about the 2015 TED Prize winner, Dave Isay, founder of StoryCorps, an innovative platform for recording and preserving the stories of everyday people. Below, watch a popular animated video of one of the recorded StoryCorps stories.

Summary: Danny Perasa and his wife, Annie, came to StoryCorps to recount their twenty-seven-year romance. As they remember their life together from their first date to Danny’s final days with terminal cancer, these remarkable Brooklynites personify the eloquence, grace, and poetry that can be found in the voices of everyday people when we take the time to listen.

Lastly, enjoy this creative video, shared as part of the 2015 TED program:
