Steve Jobs

Okay, don’t get me wrong, Steve Jobs is a great presenter.  I am just waiting for him to break out in a verse of “Ring of Fire” by Johnny Cash!  Steve, learn the lesson, black fades, and it looks like you have too…in the background.  Make sure your slides are colorful, because your wardrobe ain’t!

I agree that the dress sense of Steve Jobs is not that great. But, he thrills his audience with his great oratory skills. some legends overcome all the standard rules of good presentations, with their sheer inherent talent.

It doesn’t work for anyone, because anyone is not Steve Jobs. Also, Steve Jobs has ‘clear’ and ‘to the point’ slides for his presentations.

I also observe that famous people can survive with average quality of slides as their reputation captures the audience attention and the unique skills of the presenter entertain them. Hence, the audience don’t mind slides of an average quality.

After all, the presentation is more about the presenter rather than the dress/slides. (Though they become highly important for common people)

I might be highly partial to Steve Jobs, because i am one of his fans, and i feel what ever comes out of his mouth is just ‘beautiful’

I am the same way. I think he is a fantastic speaker. What I love most about him is that he makes the complex seem so very simple.
